My names Rebecca, and I'm a 22 year old student from the North East of England. I live with my fiance and in my spare time I like reading, writing, knitting, making clothes and baking.
Like most women, most people in fact, I'd quite like to lose some weight. That's not to say that I think I am large, I'm certainly not overweight by any means. However, I'd quite like to be a little slimmer around my hips and thighs, a bit more firm around my middle and a bit more toned in the arm/back/shoulder area.
For Christmas 2012, my mum had brought me back two pairs of Levi's from the US, but one of the pairs, a really lovely pair of mid blue straight legs, didn't fit me. I felt so, so bad. and that was the catalyst to me really trying to do something. I'd been going to the gym about three times a week for the past two years, but I hadn't really lost any weight, because my diet was atrocious.
So this blog is mostly about diet. It's about the stuff you put in your gob. There are some exercise routines (I live in a flat, so they're all things you can do on the quiet, and they're good for winter when you get snowed in and can't get to the gym), there are also recipes, lots of smoothies ones, but I'm hoping to expand the amount of savoury meals I put up, too.
There will also be other posts, posts about making clothes, knitting, doing my hair, maybe even days out. Because this is turning into more than a simply a diet blog.
